The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has announced the first batch of three award recipients for its Digital Innovation Fund (DIGID).

The DIGID is an initiative of the SC that was set up to co-fund innovative projects that demonstrate the use of technology to allow new and competitive propositions in the Malaysian capital market.

The fund aims to encourage technology investments by smaller capital market players, and the development of industry-wide solutions impacting capital raising and investment activities.

Here is the first batch of award recipients:

MULA Advisory

MULA is a financial fitness instructor that helps people achieve their goals in life by offering a more sustainable approach for Malaysians to measure, plan and get money fit effectively.

Capsphere Services

Capsphere is a peer-to-peer (p2p) asset-based financing platform in Malaysia. The firm matches Malaysian SMEs who need funding with potential investors using its online investment platform.

Advisonomics

Established in 2019, Advisonomics is a licensed financial planning organisation that aims to address problems by combining technology with human engagement.
